Good Friday in Sutton

Today is Good Friday.  Christians across Sutton will be meeting in Sutton High Street to mark this most solumn day in the Christian calendar.  We will meet outside Asda at 10:00 and process up the High Street to Waterstones.

Palm Sunday

Today is Palm Sunday and Churches across Sutton will handing out Palm Crosses to their congregations. Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus entering Jerusalem on a Donkey and the crowds waving their Palm Crosses.  It is the start of Holy Week and the lead up to Good Friday and ultimately Easter Day.
