I am very pleased that at the Area Committee,  it was agreed to introduce “No Parking At Any Time” Double Yellow lines, at the junctions of Fieldsend Road, Fromondes Road, Kingsdown Road and Stoughton Avenue.  Cars are a little prone to parking at these junctions, which can cause problems with sightlines, especially when pulling out. Wonky Bollard in Anne Boleyns Walk

Someone has clearly driven into this wonky bollard in Anne Boleyns Walk.  I have reported it to Sutton Council.  Hopefully all it needs is a spot more concrete and it can be set back in the hole again.

Over the summer a constituent contacted me with regard to a hidden road sign for Kingsdown Road.  The sign was hidden by overgrown plants, which needed to be cut back by the owner of the hedge.  The council then contacted the owner.  I am very pleased to report that the offending foliage was then cut […]

Kingsdown Road Sign

A constituent contacted me, expressing concern over this road sign.  I have now contacted the Council, who have subsequently contacted the property owner, requesting that they cut back the folliage.  I suspect the house owner had not even noticed their tree had grown that much.  Hopefully the sign will soon become visable again.
